I was not involved in the Universal Typeface Experiment. I'm just a curious soul interested in the project.
The Universal Typeface Experiment was an initiative aimed at creating a typeface that is both universally readable and culturally inclusive. The goal was to design a typeface that transcends language barriers and is accessible to people around the world, taking into account diverse linguistic characteristics and visual styles.

Years ago, I commented on a reddit post about the Universal Typeface Experiment, expressing my interest in what I thought was a fascinating initiative. Recently, I logged into reddit for the first time in several years, and I noticed someone reached out to me, intrigued by the same project, hoping to gain access to the font. Upon searching, I realized the font had all but vanished from the internet.
After some effort, I was able to contact the original creator, Wesley ter Haar of MediaMonks, who kindly shared the typeface with me. With his permission, I’m making it available here for download.
More information is available on the Behance page and the Universal Typeface Experiment Wikipedia page.
